About this journal

Aims and scope

The journal Renaissance (ISSN 2759-7210)  is dedicated to publishing groundbreaking and innovative works, particularly those that explore the intersection of fine arts, design, and audiovisual arts with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, the metaverse, blockchain, and other cutting-edge fields. We seek to highlight interdisciplinary creativity that transcends traditional boundaries, fostering a dynamic dialogue between art and technology.

Renaissance welcomes original research papers, reviews, news, analysis, and innovative works that bring fresh perspectives and challenge conventional thinking. We are particularly interested in submissions that may not easily fit into traditional journal classifications, providing a platform for avant-garde ideas and cross-disciplinary innovation.

Our mission is to offer a global academic and creative platform that promotes the fusion of art and science, encouraging collaboration and the development of new, forward-thinking approaches to both fields.

Peer Review Policy:

All research articles published in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by at least two anonymous referees.

Open access

Journal of Renaissance is a hybrid open access journal that is part of our Open Select publishing program, giving you the option to publish open access. Publishing open access means that your article will be free to access online immediately on publication, increasing the visibility, readership, and impact of your research.

Why choose open access?

  1. Increase the discoverability and readership of your article
  2. Make an impact and reach new readers, not just those with easy access to a research library
  3. Freely share your work with anyone, anywhere
  4. Comply with funding mandates and meet the requirements of your institution, employer or funder
  5. Rigorous peer review for every open access article

Article Publishing Charges (APC)

If you choose to publish open access in this journal you may be asked to pay an Article Publishing Charge (APC).

All articles published in Renaissance are published in full open access. An article processing charge (APC) of USD 1000 (US dollar) applies to papers accepted after peer review. This article processing charge is to cover the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal management.
